Lockdown Tales Activity:
The QUEEN BEE (early years and KS1)

In the story 'The Queen Bee', Martina sings and plays some catchy tunes in the voices of the animals that help Simpleton. Watch her videos below to join in with the music and learn the songs!

Each of the songs has several different parts, which you could get your friends or family to help you out with, so that you can layer the music like Martina does. Would you be a singing bee, or a humming bee? Maybe you could get someone to play an instrument - it could be a ukulele like Martina's, or another instrument you might choose, playing the same tune. If you don't have any instruments around, you could try having someone singing the ukulele part. Record your songs and email them to us, or tag us on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram, with the hashtag #LockdownTales.

The first is the song of the ants...
And here you can have a go with the song of the ducks...
And finally, the song of the bees themselves!
Record your songs and email them to us, or tag us on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram, with the hashtag #LockdownTales.
