mEMORIES OF sUFFOLK
(BOYTON, SUFFOLK, 2008)

 This collaboration with Suffolk Artlink was a project working with four elderly groups in day care centres in Woodbridge, Framlingham, Felixstowe and The Mary Warner Homes, Boyton. Three sessions for each group were structured so that the participants were encouraged to reminisce, join in discussions, sing and enjoy live music and storytelling.

The material was linked to Wonderful Beast’s touring production The Dead Moon.  As the culmination of the project, over fifty participants and their carers attended a free performance of The Dead Moon at the Seckford Theatre, Woodbridge. The sessions were led by Alys Kihl, joined by artists from Wonderful Beast.
