Wonderful Beast is committed to working with the local community, making the effort to go further afield in remote rural areas to engage families with little access to the arts, devising opportunities for all ages to participate in activities that might rarely come their way. The company believes in sharing the joy of the creative process, drawing on the expertise of its highly skilled, multi-disciplined artists. Inspired by stories, be they myths, legends, folk and fairy tales, or people’s own personal tales, our projects aim to instil a sense of well-being and delight, as hidden talents emerge.

In partnership with Suffolk Artlink we have worked with residents in care homes and alms houses in East Suffolk, and delivered inter-generational projects with local schoolchildren involving music, creative writing, poetry and public performance.
The Nightingale (2016)
The Six Swans (2014)
