‘YES - A CELEBRATION OF THE LIFE AND WORK OF ADRIAN MITCHELL

"Yes" is a celebration of the life and work of Adrian Mitchell, one of our best loved, funny, passionate and political poets. This specially created programme of his poems and songs was commissioned by The Poetry Trust and premiered to a sell-out audience at the 2009 Aldeburgh Poetry Festival. The multi-talented cast of ten includes Adrian's wife, actor Celia Hewitt, daughter, actor/singer Sasha Mitchell, Sylvester McCoy (ex Doctor Who and unrivalled player of the spoons), dancer Anusha Subramanyam and a live band. A triumphant, anarchic synthesis of words, jazz and rock-n-roll.
